Why are we here

Why are we here?

We are here because God told us to move here back in 1996. We are Christians and want to serve the Lord of our lives in a way that pleases God. (see one of our other web sites http://www.christforscotland.org.uk ). We serve and wish to honour the risen Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do. In our obedience to Him he supplies the power to complete the work He has called us to do. He loves us and supplies our every need; we continue to trust Him. He can be trusted, I, Donald first put my trust in Him for my place in Heaven 34 years ago, Jean did the same 41 years ago.

We are keen supporters of mission work and support the Serving Africa Mission, ( http://www.serving-africa.org/ ) working mostly in Ghana training the leaders of the church.

There are many people here from all over U.K. The church outside Stornoway caters mostly for Islanders and especially Gaelic speaking ones. Thus there are opportunities to work along side and witness to those who do not know Christ as Saviour and Lord. We work closely with another Christian couple look at www.oldpostofficecarloway.co.uk
